Silver Lining
The silver lining for my household is no one is throwing up.
Joshua was first~low temperature, small head cold, lots of coughing. KayLee took the next turn, only just a little bit worse. Chuck decided to have a go at it but he had to be bigger and better!! Temp of 104, LOTS of coughing, even an afternoon in the emergency room. He was officially diagnosed with Influenza A. In the meantime, Ashly and Amanda wanted to join the group. Both with temps of 103 with the cold and coughing. Only Ashly’s has turned into Bronchitis!!!
You should see our family room. We pulled out 2 of our camping cots, which Ashly and Amanda have been using with their sleeping bags. Underneath the cots, the girls have collected many “fun” quiet activities. They each have a TV tray loaded with juice, water, cheerios and cough drops. Chuck has the couch, with his laptop plugged in next to him, also with a TV tray with all his goodies.
Our kitchen island has a montage of medicines on it. Each person has their own little chart as to what they’ve had and when they’ve had it. Ashly has about 3 more days of antibiotics, Chuck about 2. The strep culture for Ashly comes back on Thursday.
Thus our silver lining~that after 3 weeks of illness~no one is throwing up!!!
